Symonds Yat itself is a wonderful area and we spent much of our time outdoors exploring, fishing, hiking canoeing etc… however I advise staying in many of the other accommodation options which are highlighted below.

What an amazing place Edge Barn is; easy to find, beautifully situated, clean, quiet and comfortable. Beyond the field, where two horses roam, is a view of the Severn bridges, and a tremendous sunset. The cottage is clean and has all you need, from crockery to a washing machine. One of our favourite ever stays.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The cottage was very clean. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help with a couple things that needed sorting. Lots of things to do in only a short drive away. Lovely little shop just around the corner, Facilities fab great shower!
