Location is perfect. We were in the little cottage with a sun room. Loved to see the sheep roam on the neighbouring field. Ullapool is a 10min drive away. Very peaceful and quiet. Loved it.

The location of the western wagon - with the view across Little Loch Broom to Beinn Gobhlach - was spectacular and continually changing with the weather and time of day. It was possible to walk to the loch for a swim from the wagon. Nearby, there are beautiful white sandy beaches, like Mellon Udrigle, as well as a range of walks for all levels from low-level paths to more challenging Corbetts and Munro peaks.
The wagon itself was super cosy, with underfloor heating and a brilliant shower - so it was a great place to return to after a day exploring in the great outdoors during the depths of winter! We were even lucky enough to see aurora borealis in the starry sky at night when it was clear.

Wonderfully comfortable house in a beautiful location. We absolutely loved our stay at Ardlearag. The open plan living/dining/kitchen works very well for a large group. Bedrooms all very comfortable and having 3 bathrooms is a bonus! The large vestibule with plenty of hooks and shoe racks great for housing a multitude of walking kit.

The view is very lovely. It was comfortably warm. Well equipped. Good kitchen to cook Christmas meals in. Owner is very helpful. They added Christmas decorations for us which was a really kind touch. I like the sustainability efforts around the property. Check in/out was easy.

Absolutely stunning location in a very relaxing and comfortable house. A week of sunshine and very little wind made this a perfect week for walking and photography. Night skies filled with stars, amazing.

The house was very clean, the beds comfy, but the room a little compact, However the shower was much more roomy. Breakfast was ace. All staff were polite and respectful
