My son and I were doing a tour of western Scotland and came across this place as it is very close to Culzean Castle (fantastic). Space was small but had everything we were looking for and more. The proprietor, George, was very friendly and seemed proud of his property. We got there a little late and were hungry so he made reservations for us at a great restaurant (possibly best food we had in Scotland). Would definitely recommend Whitestone for those looking for a base of operation.

Caravan was spotless. The view is great. Large comfy bed.
Enjoyed watching the wildlife including hares and deer from the caravan.
Also the seals at the beach.

What a gem of a place. We visited Girvan regularly and didn't know this place existed. Sadly we came up to visit my parents the last of whom we just buried. I hope we can get up and see my siblings from time to time.
This 3 bedroom house was fantastic for our purpose. It had everything we needed, warm and cozy. I would highly recommend this site. It's basic, clean, quiet and mist if all accessible. We never used the facilities but there are plenty there. The staff were also friendly.
If you're into fishing walking or just touring around it's ideal. WiFi, TV, and parking. Loved it

The location was excellent with an amazing sea view. The cabin itself is very cosy, warm very clean and tidy and has everything you need. The host Margaret and Malcolm are also very welcoming and a very nice couple. The dogs also were left a treat bag each and a dog bed.
Took my finance away for his 40th birthday and said it was best place he has stayed in the UK so far.
All meals were exceptional. Plenty of choice and staff were attentive to our needs. Rooms very clean, large bed. Hotel is lovely and in a great place. Will 100% return.
Everything! Very friendly staff and great service. Decor in hotel and cleanliness were excellent. Breakfast also very good. Fire lit at entrance was lovely. Also enjoyed the piper. Rooms also very clean and comfortable.
The room was very cosy and very clean we were meet by a very friendly gentleman that told us about the cottage and showed us to our room very pleasant stay
The location was perfect for an event I was attending at Culzean Castle. The cottage is in a beautiful spot, conveniently located near to the beach, castle and the road, it was very quiet. The room was snug, very clean and exceedingly well stocked with refreshments. It was a peaceful night's sleep, would recommend.
