This is a gorgeous cottage in a great location in the centre of Thirsk. It was very clean and smelled really fresh.. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great in the bathroom. The bonus is the parking right outside the cottage. After reading other reviews, yes it takes a little manoeuvring but we managed with our Skoda Scout which is a fairly large 4 wheel drive car. I wish we had booked it for longer but we will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to others..

Beautiful cottage. Very clean and cosy. Welcome basket filled with fresh bread, biscuits, crisps, prosecco, cereal and pastries. Butter, milk, orange juice in the fridge. The hosts thought of everything. Bathrobes, lovely toiletries and thick fluffy towels. Lot's of great things to do in the area. We went on the steam train from Pickering to Whitby. Visted Northallerton and visited James Heriot Museum. A fantastic few days away.
The location is great as a base for exploring North Yorkshire . The apartments site is on the A61 with good connections to the A1M and Thirsk station is five minutes walk away. . The apartments are comfortable,functional,and finished to a high standard and very clean . The owners who manage the site were attentive to our needs and very friendly . This is my second visit and wouldn't hesitate to book accommodation here on future visits
Lots of information given which made check in when office was closed very easy. Private use of pool was great for our 4 and 7 year old. Pool table in lounge and even a resident cat which the kids also loved. Didn't get to walk the gardens but free tennis and golf was a nice touch. DVD library also good for the kids and the place was very spacious and very clean and comfortable.
Great location. Geoff the host is welcoming and friendly. Asks about breakfast requirements. Lovely airy room and very clean. Toiletries in bathroom and plenty of towels. This is our 5th visit and the standards have always been consistently high.
Hotel was in town centre so very handy for Herriot museum, eateries and buses. Geoff was very friendly and always ready to offer advice on the area when we needed it. Room was very clean, breakfast just right and set us up for the day.
