Perfect location, in the shopping district and 5 minutes walk from back beach. Easy communication with Lisa over parking and key collection. Welcome gifts & milk were a real bonus. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. A lot of thought has gone into the decor, fixtures & fittings and there are many designer flourishes throughout, yet it remains homely and welcoming. I also love that the owner is so keen on sustainability. The dog was very well catered for with bowls, treats and towels - he gave it 5 stars.

We loved how this property felt like a home, there was everything we could need and more! All the little details thought of and a very warm welcome. Kitchen high tech but easy to use. Great big TV. Netflix already set up which was great. Shower was very nice and great pressure and temp.

Very comfortable little cottage with all the facilities you need for short or longer stays. A lot of attention to detail and focus on guest comfort. Very comfy beds, a good shower and bathroom facilities. There was a nice little information pack near the front door, put together by the hosts. Books, games, Xbox and DVDs should you want to spend time relaxing at the property. Food for breakfast was provided such as bread, eggs, preserves, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, plus a Nespresso machine with pods.
The host sent great instructions and pictures the day before on how to find the place and where to park. We have stayed at a number of places over the years and have to say this is the best. I was genuinely gutted we were only there for one night.

The Lodge itself was fully equipped with everything you could possibly want to make it a permanent home, the bed was so comfortable we wanted to take it home, the views were splendid of the hills and and estuary right below, Ian is also a well known artist and his paintings in the Lodge were absolutely amazing, and last of all Ian and Sharon were amazing hosts.

Perfect location private gate at the bottom of the gardens that takes you out virtually on to the beach and straight into town. Grounds were gorgeous, lovely breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful, swimming pool with loungers newly refurbished was excellent. 24 hr bar was a bonus if your a late arrival. Rooms and beds very clean and comfortable. Nice bath rooms. Pictures of this hotel don’t do it justice.

Lovely hotel, beds very comfy. Large bedroom, with everything you need. Amazing views of the sea and garden. The food was delicious and a great variety. The swimming pool was amazing, very clean and water not too cold!!! Have stayed before and brought my mother this time and we all had a fantastic time. We will definitely be back
The staff are lovely and so helpful. It’s very clean and the grounds are beautiful. The pool is recently refurbished and a great bonus on less than sunny days. To be able to walk through the gardens and be straight by the sea is a real draw.
