The house was nicely decorated in neutral tones, both bedrooms were of a good size & beds/bedding comfortable and fresh, well equipped kitchen, the house was generally spacious, comfortable and warm. Ann the host was very helpful & quick to respond to requests.

This 3-star vacation home offers a garden. Rose Cottage features 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a fridge, a washing machine, and 1 bathroom.
Our room was a good size with two armchairs, a television and tea and coffee facilities. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean - we loved the heritage taps in the bathroom! The hotel was nice and quiet.
We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and the choices were very good as was the service.

Our room was spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. We went for a room with a bigger bed, which was great - very comfy. There was tea and coffee, as well as some homemade shortbread which was a lovely touch. The room had plenty of storage space, as well as a small TV, chairs and a coffee table. Breakfast was fantastic, we got to pick what we fancied and it was all tasty and set us up perfectly for our day of exploring. There was plenty on-street parking and there are shops nearby - such as a Tesco in Stranraer.
The place was key operated so we never saw any staff,however it was very clean the beds were comfortable and it was an easy stroll to find somewhere to eat
This is a very good location for an overnight stay such was my visit.
The room whilst a little on the small size was nevertheless very clean, comfortable and warm. The water in the shower was plumping hot.
Modern, very clean, Elaine was a very friendly host who gave us a really good recommendation for dinner (Lando’s which was great). We had to leave early to catch a ferry so didn’t have time for the cooked breakfast but we were allowed to help ourselves to a continental from the kitchen which was a nice touch.
Arrived late off the Ferry ,booked in be very friendly member of staff.Excellent grilled breakfast next morning ,again very friendly and accommodating waItress.Very clean and spacious areas. Will be back.
Location fantastic . Fresh flowers in reception and restaurant as well as on individual tables. Furnishings and carpets very tasteful. Huge bed. Large room overlooking harbour. Large bathroom. Very serene atmosphere. Staff pleasant and smiling. Very clean.
Beautiful house with perfect surroundings for a blissful escape with family. Warm welcome from Marie with lovely touches such as delicious freshly baked bread, flowers and wine which was much appreciated. The house was spotless and the luxurious bedding and towels didn't go unnoticed as well as the gorgeous furnishings. Our children enjoyed feeding the cows grass and watching the nesting swallows feeding their young. We have stayed in many holiday houses but this was by far our favourite and hope to be back in the future.Thank you!
