An immediate warm welcome from Kerry, loved the warm, uniquely decorated interior with the fab touch of Christmas decor and relaxing essential oil scent on arrival. Good parking for two outside. Everything about the place is geared towards comfort with surprise little touches like home made dog treats and floral salts for the hot tub. Felt so relaxed after the milk bath. Kerry was such an uplifting spirit on hand to answer questions and make our stay so easy. Such a friendly couple. Love that it’s tucked away from the main road with wonderful views of countryside when walking doggies. And a short drive to the nearest beach. Thank you!! Highly recommend the stables!

Location was amazing, Right on the beach with sea view, sauna and hot tub and added factor of kayaks if you want to go into the sea which we didn’t use but amazing that we could, they left us a bottle of Prosecco also which a lovely touch

Perfect place to stay with dogs! Our three Labs just loved a big private yeard. The cottage have everything what you could need on youre stay. Very clean and cosy. Highly recommended if you are looking a place to stay with youre dog.

Lovely little holiday rental in a great location just a short drive from Downpatrick with easy and cheap access across the lough by the ferry from strangford.

Host was great, even replying to queries from us despite travelling for work at the time we stayed and had left us fresh daffodils, a lovely welcoming touch!

Had a lovely meal in The Lobster Pot and then got the ferry over to the Portaferry Hotel for more drinks and good entertainment! ferry is £2 return and runs every half hour...well worth it!
