The host charged VAT on my bill however when I asked for a VAT invoice, for my accountant, at first I was told it’s Booking com responsibility to issue an invoice and later I was told by the host that they wasn’t even VAT registered. To date (1 month later) I have still not received an invoice or a refund for the VAT charged, nor have I received the phone call from the hosts accountant, as the host stated would happen. This is the first negative comment I’ve ever left about a host. My advice is check if your being charged the 20% VAT before you book with this host, as they are NOT VAT registered.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.

Was near to the conference venue. Parking in the street. We usually got space in front of the house.

It was very clean. The host was so careful to provide everything in kitchen (utensils, coffee microwave, washer-dryer,..), even bin bags,... extra bed linen, toiletries,... The living room, bedroom and the bathroom are very spacious. I highly recommend this. Great location to explore neighbouring peak district, Redmires, Wyming Brook or Sheffield and suburbs. Also not too far from Hope Valley.
