Absolutely loved the cottage we travel a lot and I can honestly say hand on heart it’s the best property we’ve stayed in, everything you could possibly need. It was lovely and warm with the log burner going, quiet, clean, spacious, we’ve already booked a return visit.

Lovely accommodation to relax and catch up on work during business trips. This is the third time I've stayed here and highly recommend (twice at The Stables and once at The Loft) Key pick up is simple and efficient. Good communication with host and they leave you to get on with your stay whilst being nearby if needed.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation set in a very peaceful residential area within a short walk of all Stanhope's amenities. There is parking for two vehicles on the driveway and a private rear garden which gets the morning sunshine. In the evening, all you really hear out there are the sheep across the river and the occasional owl.
For it being January there wasn't much to do, but that was the whole point in the visit to begin with. The caravan (or holiday home) was extremely impressive, you have all the facilities you could possibly want at your fingertips. Overall, excellent value for money!!
Communication with host was very quick and easy. Access was via a lock box, which was easy too. Location: just off High Street - great for lovely shops, Stanhope Weekender festival and walks with the dog. Property was well equipped for our stay.
Lovely homely stay with everything we possibly could have needed for a stay. The house was very clean and nicely decorated, also the extra finishing touches for our arrival were very nice and appreciated. The hosts were friendly and keen to offer any help. Communication was good and getting access to the house was nice and straight forward with no issues. Nice location too. We hope to return again at some point, thank you!
