We loved this little cottage. It has a nice amount of space, is pleasantly decorated, and has a modern bathroom and good kitchen with everything you need, including snacks!
The welcome/guide book had loads of useful information and recommendations which we found very helpful.
The surrounding landscape is pretty and the local sheep were always there to greet us :)

We didn’t know what to expect when we arrived but were blown away at the size, cleanliness and how well it was stocked. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for all 4 of us.
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.

The property had everything we needed for a 3 day stay and there was a good sized co op supermarket in Portree.
The property itself was very clean the oven fridge and cooktop good and with all utentsils for meals there should you wish.The hotel about 10 mins walk nearby handy if you want a drink.
Beautifully appointed room. Everything was very clean and fresh. Lots of lovely little extras like milk, eggs and butter in the fridge, bagels and chocolates, muesli packets etc. The most comfortable bed and duvet of our trip. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved our stay!

Hamish and Josephine are terrific hosts and delightful. We had a twin room which was small but well appointed and very clean. The bathroom is tiny in that room but had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was substantial and a surprise. The loch view was lovely and I would stay there again.
Poachers Bothy was extremely well equipped and thought through. It was very clean and warm and welcoming on a wet and windy day. The owners had really thought about what was needed to make a stay comfortable and easy and we cannot recommend it highly enough. We have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends and will be happy to book it again.
