The property was self catering which was what i wanted, the facilities were spotlessly clean. Monika made me feel very welcome and explained everything very clearly. She was on hand to anwser any questions and nothing was too much trouble.

I was so happy upon arrival. The photos of this place really do not do it justice. Parking is a little tricky to find but once you found it, you will be so pleased as it is the owners private space and you can come and go as you please. It is less than a moments walk from the property's front door. The house is immaculate and has everything you need to prepare food, just bring your own tea towels and paper towel. I fancied a glass of Champagne but there was no flute but there is literally charity shops upon your doorstep to rummage around and find anything you might need. It was clean and beautifully set out, a gorgeous little entrance that you can leave your shoes and shopping by the door. I enjoyed the fact it had a food incinerator too. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linen, towels etc were clean and fresh. The bath was my favourite part but the shower was also luxurious. Plenty of hot water too. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this home from home stay. I had a very peaceful 4 night stay here.

On arrival the front of house house staff were so welcoming, we were also given a room upgrade which was really appreciated.
The spa facilities were great, we used the pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Everything was very clean, the gym was well equipped.
The bed and pillows were very comfy.
The hotel itself had old historic features combined with modern new parts.
