The host Cathy was incredibly accommodating and the shepherd Hut was spotless. We all enjoyed the Hot tub and the excellent views of the Morne mountains. Plenty to do nearby.
Lots of goodies left by the host.

Loved the personal story behind it and the history even down to seeing historical pictures of it. Vince met us at the door and gave us a great little tour and some history of the cottage which was very interesting. It felt personal, unlike other stays we have had.
The place was so cosy and warm. It has everything you would need to cook and meal and store food (we didn't do this but the option is good). The sofa was comfortable and had an extra blanket for extra cosyness (but trust me it's perfectly warm without it). It was cold when we were there but there was plenty of seating outside for the warmer months.
Love the coffee machine and a little welcoming gift & sign from Vince & Mairead - those simple touches you don't get everywhere. A television in the lounge and a television in the bedroom was good too.
And a big hot tub! It's fits 6 people and even a little chimnea if you want to make a night of it.

It was stunning! Richard was a lovely man who welcomed us into what felt like a little piece of heaven for the night. Cosy and extremely comfortable, very very clean and all the little personal touches were so well thought off. The grounds of the property were like a dream.
