This property is located in a quiet location and is ideal for hikes and a chance to get away from the city. The shower was excellent and there is plenty of free parking. There was tea and coffee provided and the kitchen was fully equipped. Apparently the village is the highest in Scotland - meaning lots of fresh air.

Everything!!! The cottage is beautifully decorated from top to bottom. The kitchen is so well equipped, including a full dinner set of English fine bone china. The bedrooms are gorgeous with very comfortable beds. The views are superb. But the icing on the cake was that our hosts, Ben and Tim, could not have been more welcoming and congenial! We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous cottage to all! Oh, almost forgot to say… we found lots to do and see within easy access of the cottage.

Glendyne Cottages is a nice wee cottage in Wanlockhead. The village is very small but is very pretty to look at and has a bit to do with all the old lead mining history. We stayed as we were walking the Southern Upland Way and we found that the property was warm and comfortable with plenty of hot water.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Continental breakfast was more than enough didnt need extra and was included in the price, rooms were very comfy , quiet and very clean, anything you needed just asked staff more than happy to help, ate evening meal great choice and lovely food, overall great stay
The hotel was very clean everywhere. Staff were very friendly and really helpful nothing a problem for them. We were in a group of 12 in the restaurant for lunch, clean plates all round. Thoroughly enjoy our breakfast in the morning delicious.
Pool table out the back added a bit of competition for the family.
Would definitely stay again!!!
This hotel is a little gem. We had a twin room which was very clean and comfortable. Picturesque window seat which my daughter enjoyed sitting in. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Value for money wise this is the best hotel we have stopped in.
