We stayed in the Valley View home. We had a beautiful view over gorgeous open countryside. We loved the goats and chickens running about and it is in a very quiet location. The property has what you need - including a smart speaker, which went down well with the teenagers, and a coffee machine that uses pods (provided). Somerset is a very beautiful county, with lots of steep hills in the north and flat levels in the south. There is a lot to do - we went to SS Great Britain in Bristol and saw Clifton suspension bridge as well - plus city of Bath, the beach at Weston-super-Mare, Cheddar gorge and caves, RSPB Avalon marshes near Glastonbury, and the city of Wells. All highly recommended. We had a nice meal at Haynes and also the Hunters' Rest - both are walking distance - take a torch as the roads are narrow and unlit. The property has a little patio area and a BBQ for communal use. There is also a log burning stove inside. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cabin. It would be a great property for families with kids of all ages as well as a few friends or a couple. It has tiled floor through the main reception, bathroom, and kitchen areas. It was really spotlessly clean. My dad loved having a TV in the bedroom. It's nothing showy but Valley View worked well for us and I would stay again.

The host was great and met us with the keys. The stay was super cute and in a great location. It was easy to get into the center but yet a bit off the path so it was very quiet. Super great location for a couple. Also loved she had coffee and sugar! That was a nice treat. Would definitely recommend.

Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. Everything was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom very clean. A great atmosphere in the pub. Plenty of parking. Lovely garden area. Food (evening meal and breakfast) was freshly cooked and delicious.
.y room was very comfy with a brand new ensuite, Everything was very clean. The single bed was very comfortable and I had a fabulous sleep. Breakfast was excellent, esp the fresh fruit salad! Thank you !!

The room was spacious, the luxurious towels, and crisp bedding was good quality and immaculately clean. There was a kettle, TV and hairdryer. The bathroom was large, very clean and massive shower cubicle.
Lovely room decor, very clean excellent facilities. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and evening meals, a very popular place to eat, parking was free and well appointed. Bar was well stocked with a great choice of ciders, lagers and ales.Well done to Maxine and her sons and the rest of the team for an excellent 2 night stay👍
