The wood burner was great for making the cottage warm and cosy in the evenings, and the hot tub was such a treat to come back to after our walks. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were great. The welcome booklet had lots of information which was greatly appreciated. We also loved the on-site shop with lots of fresh produce to enjoy. Really good location that had nearby access to hikes and experiences.

Very spacious accommodation in a great location. The lounge and dining area are big. The kitchen was well equipped (with exception of no dishwasher). The check in process was easy (via key safe). Overall good quality accommodation and good value for money.

We stayed this NYE and last NYE it was lovely for a quiet night away. Lots of nice country pubs to visit and sit by the fire. Perfect for a night or 2 away.

Very stylish, clean, comfortable and some nice touches with bits for both us and our dog on arrival. Induction hobs are the future and was great to have that 😊 also there was very good communication before arrival over how to find The Barn and what to expect at the property

The cleanliness and overall layout of the cabin was exceptional combined with the location and views all around us we couldn’t have been more settled and relaxed.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Comfortable small barn on a farm in a beautiful rural location. Very quiet and peaceful. Near to the local attractions and facilities such as Dovedale, Tissington Trail and Hartington. The cottage was great for the four of us (two couples) for a weekend. Very clean and well laid out. Highly recommended for a walking weekend or short break.
