Great location, spacious cottage, good parking. A lovely patio garden to the rear, well maintained however unable to sit outside due to neighbours dogs constantly barking every time we went outside or the door was open.

Even though we only stayed one night on our way, we really enjoyed it! The house was cozy and the views were great! If we are ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be checking to see if Sunnyside Farm is available! 10/10 recommend!!
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.

Swallow Cottage is a lovely, quiet place to stay. The location is good for trips to The Lake District and Yorkshire and the surrounding countryside is definitely worth exploring. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and the fully enclosed garden is great for dogs. Parking is ample and easy. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Absolutely recommend for those like us looking to escape and get some down time and with our dog who had her own garden to roam around in.
Great location, lovely scenic views very well kept grounds. Perfect for our two spaniels they enjoyed the secure garden. The cottage is very clean, comfortable, spacious and a wide range of kitchen equipment. Underfloor heating is very nice too!
The canal Turn pub is very dog friendly and welcoming, a short drive away and close to Tesco and other amenities. Perfect for us and will be reccomending.
