Location for Alton towers was excellent. The studio was cosy, but ample space for a family of four. All the basic kitchen items were available which made it easy to make simple meals.
Great communication from the host leading up to us arriving - we arrived in the evening, and they accommodated that late arrival.

We spent the weekend here with a 6 year old 2 year old. The children wanted to move into the carriage for good. It was a fantastic experience and we got so close to the cows each morning.
This carriage was a 20 minute drive from Alton Towers. Jayne the host provided all info by text message and shared contact details if needed. Although not iscolated we felt we had privacy and wasn’t on someone else’s land as such. We felt comfortable in the carriage. It was chilly outside all weekend but the carriage was toasty and warm.
Everything was provided including towels and fresh milk. There is a restaurant 5 min walk one direction and another pub/food place 5 min walk in the other direction. We liked this as we could leave the car at the farm and walk to dinner as we aren’t confident country road drivers especially at night.
Please book this as a couple break or for an experience with younger children. A really bespoke experience. The views from the carriage of lane and country side was out of this world.

Everything! Spacious, warm, and beautiful house that had absolutely everything needed for a family stay. Also literally 10 minutes to Alton Towers could not fault a thing x
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Tollgate House - Luxury Cozy Cottage - HUGE Hot Tub - Alton Towers offers accommodation with a spa and wellness centre and free WiFi.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The location was quiet and peaceful, and the hosts gave us a very warm and kind welcome when we arrived, even offering to tumble dry our wet clothes for us! The room and en-suite were well equipped and had everything you need to make you comfortable, as well as being very clean. We had a great night's sleep followed by a delicious breakfast, setting us up well for the day ahead. We only stayed one night, but would definitely come here again if we were to return to the area.
The property is very clean and modern - the amenities are perfect for a trip away. If you are going to Alton Towers it is in an ideal location. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The host was lovely, she did not mind that we showed up a bit messy from our walk.
The room we were in was very clean and came with a bathroom. The room also came with a lot of information about the area, which was incredibly helpful.
The breakfast in the morning was great we could customise our English breakfast to be exactly what we wanted. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Absolutely loved staying here. My friends wedding was at Lower Damgate farm about 20 mins drive away so this was perfect location. Stunning views of the mountains. Lovely large beautifully decorated room. Everything was spacious and very clean.
Louise the host was very accommodating, I had a few requests and she did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

Property was very clean, warm and decorated with taste. It was fully equipped to satisfy all guest’s needs. The host was amazing! She was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. She made the most delicious full English breakfast and a fresh coffee in the morning. If I find myself around Alton towers again, I will definitely book a stay at Moorland View Farm!
The house itself is in a lovely area with scenic views all around. The inside areas are all spacious while still being cosy, and everything you could need in a holiday home is already included.
