The location was superb for Kielder observatory. Kitkat chocolates were provided by the host and hot chocolate kits which was a lovely touch. The cottage was very clean with amazing views of the surrounding area. Fantastic hosts!

it was in a fabulous location, very private & peaceful. it was cozy, 3 nights was enough as lack of storage meant living out of the car which wasn’t a massive problem & didn’t spoil our stay but under bed storage for future and a little more hanging space would make it perfect .. it was well equipped for what we needed & managed to cook a full breakfast on the 1 ring stove, challenging just need to improvise lol .. A lovely walk along the Esk was fabulous. enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub & chilling by the stream. Thank you for a lovely stay , we will definitely return 😊

Staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Evening meal was excellent. Room nicely finished -very clean and comfortable. Overall a wholly pleasant stay.
Very clean. Shared kitchen and lounge was well kitted out. Secure bike storage was very useful. Bathrooms were clean and hot showers were very welcome after a day on the trails.
The location is very convenient, on the Main Street of the village, free car park around, local shops around, very clean and tidy, bike storage, outside area with tables and seats, books and board games, kitchen fully equipped
