The property is cosy, clean and has everything you need - so lovely to arrive and already be able to have a cuppa and not worry about the first breakfast. Eggs from the hens on the property was a bonus. The wood burner made it especially cosy for a winter stay. Parking is easy, lots of space. Walking. An excellent spacious and warm property with everything you could need for a stay away from home. A lovely welcome from Karen and Martin too, plus some nice scones with jam & cream which was much appreciated. We were also lucky that the barn owl returned to its nest, so we could watch it on the owl-cam!

A very lovely hotel, with nice facilities in the room (a great bath!) and a gorgeous breakfast. The staff were friendly and it all felt very clean and professional.
The cottage was bigger than expected, we really enjoyed the log burners which were nice to sit by. Great unexpected touches such as a wide choice of Radox bubbles for the bath, a lovely welcome basket in the kitchen with an advent calendar, my son enjoyed opening a door each morning during our stay. :) The cottage was very clean, and the beds super comfortable. It was decorated nicely for Christmas too!
