Beautiful area, beautiful interior, very clean and cosy, we loved the outside bath hot tub. Host (Tara) is very lovely and made us feel very comfortable during our stay and very helpful. Co op shop less than 10 min drive with lovely town.

Very clean lovely house in a very quiet area. Bedding and towels provided again very clean. The decked area to the side is perfect for sitting out on a nice evening. Myself and 2 children stayed for a week and will be booking again. Five minutes off the motorway but very easy to find. Owners very helpful without being overbearing.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. The annex itself is nice and very clean. Highly recommend if you're looking for comfortable accommodation in Star of Markinch.
We found our room to be small and compact yet very clean and adequate with nice complimentary packages. The TV with the streaming service was brilliant. After a long day driving, a cup of tea watching a good film is perfect. The location for a one night's stay was spot on and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Spacious, very clean and feeling of luxury. Friendly, helpful staff and a lovely restaurant. Proximity of the bar facilities had no detrimental impact on the quiet calm of the room (even though it was Hogmanay!), and the position of the hotel at the beginning of Markinch meant no noise from the street and excellent access to the many walks in the area.
