Everything was first class, the cottage was comfortable and clean, hosts very friendly and helpful. We will definitely book again, next time we are that way. We were part of an enormous wedding party from all over Europe and the British Isles, perhaps 200 of us , some of whom were in a yurt village near the church where the ceremony was to take place, the rest scattered among various inns and hotels and b&bs in Horncastle. Everywhere was full. From what we gathered from other guests, few had such a comfortable, friendly and trouble-free experience as we did. "Sans souci, carefree" indeed. The whole place is an idyll, 'Sans, Souci,' Parfait!

Room was very clean you could smell the freshness on sheets and towels. Shower was fantastic powerful and hot. Pleanty of amenities and hairdryer was also powerful. Traveling alot these things really do make a difference
The rooms was very clean up to standard and very cosy. Beds was comfortable. The area was out the way tucked in a little village. The break we needed.
Also how they accommodate children. Facilities including use of all kitchen
Lovely Hotel. Great staff. The food was excellent, the breakfast menu had a great choice, freshly cooked, no awful buffet and toast machine 😁 Dinner was very good and the Sunday roast was the best I've had. (Personally I'm not a fan of roasts and hate carvery so that is a great recommendation)
Close to everything including just a 5 minute walk to the Railway station. Good size rooms and walk in shower. Very clean.
