The property was very much an old farmhouse/ cottage, with uneven floors and quirky little details. Everything was there, the only thing I would have liked was a toaster particularly having young children who eat a lot of toast!! but apart from that it was great.

Very friendly owner was brilliant he booked and drove us up to the Crown brilliant service .Bed was so comfortable and very clean. Could not want more for a very good value for money one night stay. Best breakfast ever. Beats the big hotels any day.
Very enjoyable stay. Friendly staff and the room/bathroom was very clean. Excellent meal. Not cheap by any means but given the location and standard of service the room rates/meal prices were just about worth it.
The location was first class lovely views from the windows.The room was very clean and well laid out.The breakfast was excellent and there was a good choice. Our hosts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble will definitely return
Beautiful little hotel in a very pretty area. Absolutely stunning views! Staff were all so friendly and accommodating, probably the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever come across. All areas were very clean. Food was amazing!!!!! Lovely area, lots to do if you like beautiful scenic walks, chilling on the beach or in a beer garden and there are a few lovely little shops too.
The location is excellent. Good cooked breakfast. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. My room was very clean. Perhaps my only preference that was lacking would be a proper shower. My room had a handset spray bath tap. I managed to soak the floor every time I used it and beware the hot tap is incredibly hot. That said the bathroom was well fitted and finished cleaned every day. Overall a great few days at The Rising Sun.
