We booked Lilac Cottage over the Christmas period. The cottage was excellent in every way. Lee, the host was fantastic. Helpful in every way. Going out of his way to make sure we had enough seating for Christmas day dinner for all our visitors. The cottage itself was in a perfect location, clean, had everything you could want in a home and just fabulous in every way.

Nice large room with a comfortable bed. Good wardrobe to put our clothes in and a useful bedside cabinet. The room was very clean. TV worked well. It met our needs very well.
Very clean and very quiet. We didn’t see anyone else whilst we were there. Next to an EV charger was a bonus. We only stayed overnight and were gone by 6 am. For the money I thought it was excellent.
Very clean, comfortable and spacious. I loved American Motel style, unusual for UK. Breakfast was simple but only ￡6 as room service. We will go back again.
Luxury double room. Very comfortable. Large room with ensuite, wardrobe, table and chairs, tv. All very clean. Decent sized bathroom with a good shower, loads of hot water and good pressure. Tea/coffee facilities, towels and toiletries included. Very warm room, but a fan was provided if needed. Small town a 5 minute walk, shops and plenty of takeaways, the lovely guy at reception even gave us plates and cutlery to use! Good location and plenty of parking.

The decoration and furniture is old and could do with refreshing, but the bed was comfortable and everything (apart from carpet) was very clean.
Breakfast was satisfactory.
Booked it for my sister who travelled from Spain for a family wedding.
