Beautiful little cottage, one of the nicest we have stayed in. Well equipped and very comfortable. The enclosed rear garden was a real bonus for our dog and we even managed to sit in the sunshine one evening. We only stayed for two nights on our way home from Skye but would happily have stayed longer.
Lovely house next to Euchan River is located in Sanquhar, just 11 miles from Drumlanrig Castle and 23 miles from Ballochmyle Golf Club.

Lovely, bucolic setting and very clean and comfortable Cottage. The walk to town is extraordinary, with fields, rolling hills, a bridge over the river and sheep, but can take 20-25 minutes. There is also a river walk right in front of the cottage that will take you by the Euchan Well and waterfalls through a forest. Just delightful.

lovely little place and dog friendly too which was a huge bonus for us! Host provided tea, coffee, sugar and milk as well as some lovely shortbread for us!! was much appreciated. All very clean and tidy. The area for us was a little too out in the sticks - but that’s personal preference.
The cottage is very clean and well equipped with a small garden out the back, plus a friendly pub and shop within walking distance. Everything you could need, packaged up very nicely.
