The lodges are absolutely stunning and decorated so well. They are spacious and comfortable, warm, bright and all-in-all a gorgeous space. The location is excellent for walkers - there is a beautiful walk into town by the river which takes around 30 mins. James is an attentive host and he made us feel so welcome. Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. The friendly contact with the owners. The peaceful location and the scenery. The demonstration of the sheep with the sheepdog by the owner. It was very clean in The Hen House and also lovely and warm inside.
Was self catering but provided a bottle of wine and biscuits. So kind. Large rooms, very clean and very warm. Good Wi-Fi. Lovely working farm, lambing in shed nearby.
