What I appreciated most was the exceptional hospitality from Anthony and Caroline, whose warmth made us feel right at home. The villa was not only cozy but meticulously cared for, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The experience of staying on a farm with friendly animals added a delightful touch that made our family’s stay truly unforgettable.

Home from home. Great host, spotless house, new games for the kids, close to the Den where my grandsons love to play and 2 mins from the shops. Been before and will hopefully be back. 👍

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the sportsman’s lodge. It was cozy, well equipped and dog friendly. Walking up to the beautiful surroundings was a great start to each morning and then seeing the clear sky full of stars from the hot tub of an evening was memorising. Our dog is nervous at times but settled quickly into the sportsman’s lodge it was like a home away from home for us all. Donna the host communicated well via text prior to our stay and offered her support at anytime if required. She also provided a beautiful welcome back on our arrival. We look forward to a return visit in the near future.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. The keys were easy to find. The property was bijou although very clean and comfortable. The owner of the neighbouring property was very friendly and came out to meet us. The location was quiet and convenient. It was good value.
Excellent location for shops, bars & restaurants. Was very clean and very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with crockery and utensils. Would highly recommend staying here.
a really nice little hotel with very pleasant staff. My room was basic but very clean although I think the mattress had seen better days. I was genuinely surprised by how good the food was. The burgers were excellent. The price of all accommodation is ridiculous at the moment and in the normal course of things, I would call this hotel overpriced. Having said that, in the current financial situation, this hotel represents good value for money.
