The host Catherine was very kind and shared lots of toys for our kids which they loved. The location is very remote but beautiful and on a working sheep and cow farm. The walk to the cliffs is close by and you're close to some major attractions on Skye. Seeing the sheep and other farm animals from the kitchen window was special.

The cottage is so cosy, we really enjoyed our stay. In the middle of fields, with a beautiful view on the see. Everything was perfectly clean. The beds are very comfortable and the sheets were amazing, we really felt at home. John and Carol were available to respond to all of our questions and needs. The cottage is a bit away from touristic roads, allowing to enjoy a real Scottish experience ! But still close to the beautiful hikes of the isle of Skye.

Good quiet location overlooking Staffin beach. House was very clean. Beds comfortable.Bathrooms were great with good showers.The kitchen was well equipped with plenty, glasses, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans etc…and had the most beautiful large wooden table looked hand-made with a wooden bench and tall back chairs enough room to seat 8.

The views from the property were great. We liked how quaint the property was and the history around it.
We liked the kitchen facilities as it was a fair drive into other establishments for dinner (and with the snow and ice we didn't want to drive that road in the dark) so we made use of the kitchen for our dinner both nights.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The property has a lot of character, as a former crafter cottage. You can see the ocean and mountains from there, and the garden is very pleasant. It was very clean.
Design and decoration makes the apartment/room very cozy and perfect to have a good rest after a day of sightseeing. Property is very clean and tidy, and we loved the opportunity to do some stargazing. Host Steve was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help us check on the best way to get to his apartment safely given the weather conditions.

The cottage was spacious, warm, and very comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need (the dishwasher and washing machine were a big plus).
