Quirky, well-equipped, peacefully situated on the edge of a very pretty village, easy to get to Ironbridge and ok to get to David Austin's rose garden along some very rolling English roads! For me, very unusually, the bed got a 10 for comfort! Nice private grassy area to front with bench for taking early or late cuppas. If we'd had time would love to have explored Speeds Lane itself with its many dollshouse-like, chocolate box cottages.

Very clean, our twin room was perfectly thought out - plenty plug sockets that were next to the beds and close to the mirrors. The location was lovely right opposite the river. The staff were lovely and friendly. Prices reasonable and we enjoyed the food. It was a great stay and would book again
