Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, relaxing atmosphere, excellent food, amazing selection of pies🥧 .excellent facilities, great location. Very clean and well maintained.
We stayed here for 3 nights and had evening meal here 2 nights and breakfast all days. The hotel has recently been refurbished and was very clean with good parking. The food was very good at all times, hot and plentiful, on nice warm plates, and despite a few issues (due to the recent refurbishment) the staff did their best to rectify the issues which were under their control.
The room was very large with a seating area, well decorated and had been refurbished at some point in the not too distant past. Mineral water, selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate provided. Really nice bathroom, good hot shower. Plenty of good quality towels. Room very clean and quiet.
Extensive breakfast menu, plenty of choice and cooked just right. The lady serving breakfast was really friendly, efficient and helpful.
Lovely location. Family run, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Self contained 'cottages' very nicely appointed beds and bathroom,very clean and well equipped kitchen area. Full pub menu choice also if you prefer
Nice rural setting, and handy for Filey, Briddlington and Scarborough. Also great walking, both country trails and coastal paths, Cleveland way.
Great stay here, AND very reasonable price.
