Clean lodge, in a beautiful quiet place. Hot tub was lovely. The lodge had everything you need. I liked the little mini bar idea, although it could do with mabie some snacks as it only provides alcohol and soft drinks.

Location in a very pleasant historic town with a convenience store and bakery opposite. Large free car park. The rear of the hotel looks tired but it is deceptive. Stayed in single room (7), contrary to an earlier review the bathroom appears to have had a complete refurbishment everything looked new and very clean. Modern neutral decor. Cooling fan provided. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast with coffee and orange juice.
Nice member of staff checked me in, served breakfast and kindly kept my phone charger until a friend could collect for me. Room was very clean, bed comfy, and shower good. Nice bacon in roll for breakfast.
