Stunning views, especially in the master's, toilet, and kitchen. We did a lot of stargazing, weather permitting. We even saw shooting stars for the first time! My son got very excited when he found a binocular in the house. He loves the night sky. Having one to use was unexpected!
Julia welcomed us with some treats, too! Thank you!! Everything you will need in a house is provided, and her attention to the smallest details is seen everywhere in the house, which was great! There are umbrellas and stuff in the pantry like tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, salt etc. Having milk and a drink on arrival was very thoughtful! There's lots of mirrors too!!! 😊
I love waking up to a great view and absorbing it. So peaceful!
There's a folder with instructions. Tips about the area are also provided. There are plenty of cupboards, there's fans and heaters too!
And the beds and pillows!!! It's like in a 5-star accommodation! Top quality for a restful sleep!
The master's bedroom is all about great views! There's glass windows in all angles.
Lastly, the shower! It's excellent, like in a 5 star hotel! There are 2 showers and toilets too, so queuing was never an issue and one is just adjacent to 2 rooms!
The bathtub is massive! Another plus A+++.
Location is great if you like country walks as you are face with stunning views!
Famous Castle Combe is about 35 mins away by car, FYI.

Perfect location, a couple of minutes walk to town centre & Abbey. Compact accommodation that has used the available space extremely well. We were lucky enough to grab a parking space at the near adjacent pub as suggested but parking there is no guarantee.

Great quiet, rural location, 5 minutes drive from town centre, Lidl supermarket, and fabulously friendly Pub The Bee's Knees brisket, ribs ,chicken wings yummm.
Owners are super nice and very quickly respond to messages.
Andrew gave a lovely greeting and overview of the manse, renovations, and escorted us to our rooms.
Bedroom was a good size, with very comfortable bed and field views.
our bathroom was large with lovely deep bath tub, double vanities, and just across the hall.
Downstairs was a great little kitchen with fridge, cooking tools, oven and hob plus some basics oil, salt for use. We also used an outdoor BBQ!
There is also a communal dining lounge where we chatted with another visitor staying on 1 night.

Stunning property, in a wonderful waterfront location. Couldn’t have wished for more. Beautifully furnished and with everything we needed for a home from home stay. The onsite facilities were such a bonus and we enjoyed a meal out, swimming every day and kayaking on the lake. Could have done so much more. Particularly enjoyed the balcony- perfect for watching the sun set. Will be staying again.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Friendly welcome. Fresh milk, yoghurts, fruit and croissant waiting for us. Extremely well equipped, and very clean. Very helpful, checked that everything was ok, even offered to get shopping for us one day! Beds were very comfortable. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.
The owners had put a lot of thought and effort into the property, all furnishings good quality and comfortable, kitchen was carefully and well equipped for our short stay and the property was very clean. Items provided for an adequate breakfast however I felt it would have been very nice if a little breakfast cereal had been included in the selection.
