A lovely place in a quiet neighborhood not too far from points of interest and walking distance to a few restaurants including the exceptional "Imperial Palace". Definitely the nicest lodgings the 6 of us stayed in during our 10 days in Scotland. I will definitely check its availability the next time we visit.

A beautifully renovated cottage in a lovely peaceful rural location. Very clean and comfortable, with good kitchen facilities. Easy driving distance from Edinburgh and perfect for our overnight stay. Key is in a coded box, so can arrive late without disturbing the owners. Would happily have stayed longer!
It's a really interesting old homestead and would be a fantastic venue for a small wedding or a gathering of some sort. We stayed one night only in a family room with ensuite. Everything was very clean and the kids enjoyed the games room. If we had stayed longer would have made more use of the gorgeous huge kitchen and sitting room
Very quiet and peaceful out in the country and well priced.
This was the nicest place we stayed during a couple weeks in the UK and might have been the cheapest, too. The building dates from the 1600s, and the hosts have painstakingly renovated it. The inside is brand new and very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly. It's on a small country road surrounded by fields, but it's a few minutes drive away from the Gorebridge train station, which makes it a good base for visiting Edinburgh.
