The photos and description of the location gave the impression that being on a cliff top there were spectacular views. There were, but not from the accommodation as this looked onto the back of the hosts house. Very misleading. The kitchen living space was not integrated to the bedroom so one had to go outside - in the pouring rain as it happened. Very inconvenient and uncomfortable and this was not made clear in the description it being described as a "private" area. The kitchen living area was also said to have an 'observatory'. There was a large window with a view was of a plowed field.

This was our home base for adventures along the east coast of Scotland. It was perfect for journeying out to Dunnatar Castle, Aberdeen, Glamis Castle, St. Cyrus Beach ( be sure to go to the Old Bakery Cafe!!!), all the sites in Montrose and a quick stop at Aldi’s for food and snacks. We stayed in Laundry Cottage ( 3 adults and 2 children) and we had two beds left over; very spacious and kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy and shower pressure was good. Two bathrooms was an extra bonus. Really fantastic playground for the kids and great breakfast at their little cafe. Our private hot tub was awesome on those chilly fall nights! we were there for five days and I could have stayed longer, might be busier during the summer but fall was perfect, quiet and private. LOVED IT!

The house was decorated to a high standard. Everything we needed was available. There were lots of extras like welcome gifts, snacks, milk, etc.

The place was absolutely amazing, I actually couldn't believe what I was in for the price. I'd love to bring my family along sometime.
The beauty of it wasn't only the beautiful setting almost the field as far as the eye can see but how tranquil it was.
Host was absolutely amazing even without personally meeting, as everything was spot on from easy check in to check out.......plus they were always on the end of the phone for queries.

It's in a very peaceful location. Beautifully decorated. Nice private area where the hot tub is located, with extra privacy screen available. Very clean accomodation. Lots of extra little touches added, such as toiletries, linens/towels, tea/coffee area, lots of kitchen supplies, tv with freeview etc
We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan house was fully equipped with all you need. Hot tub was very clean. We had a good time and we might come back during spring /summer season.
