Beautiful location, lovely walk to Dronfield through fields seeing sheep and horses. Walking half an hour gets you to a bus stop if you're without a car (as I was). Very nice house, all facilities worked as one would hope. Milk and tea bags were already there upon arrival for me which was very nice of the host. 10/10 nice trip.

Beautiful location, a short stroll from Chatsworth House and a 4 mile walk to Bakewell. An uphill walk to Baslow Edge and the Eagle Stone, a nice circular walk to Grindleford. Three lovely pubs close by. The cottage is spacious with a lovely bath and a great place to sit beside the river with a morning tea. Hosts were great let us park early and brought us milk and bakewell tarts !
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
If you stay here, definitely book a a table and eat with them, the food was top notch! staff friendly with a smile. The pub/restaurant was cosy without being too cosy and was very clean and tidy, the outside space was magical I need to go back and spend more time here
We stayed here for the night as we were going walking the next day. It was very clean , staff were lovely, we had food in the restaurant which was very nice . The outside at the rear was very nice .
It was QUIET! So lovely and quiet.
The place was very clean and tidy. Clearly some investment was put in to make the standard high here. It's a private little spot too, well thought out by the owners. We were warmly greeted by Kate when we arrived. Everything was ready for us. I would happily stay here next time I'm in the area.
