Very comfortable property, very clean and well furnished plus everything you’d need for your stay. Lovely comfortable beds. Off road secure parking, picturesque village location within easy driving time to the Moors, York, Malton, Pickering, Castle Howard etc.. Plus owners are on site and are very attentive.

Although the property is located a few kms from the town, the bus stop was located nearby and the bus ran regularly. We found the number 8 bus from Badger Hill shops to be quick, regular and convenient. We enjoyed a couple of local eateries, the Black Bull pub and Sylhety Lounge (Indian cuisine). The kitchen was great to be able to prepare a meal, and we were able to do a load of washing and hang it outside on the line. Thank you for a pleasant stay in the lovely city of York.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The host was very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean, equipped with everything you need, including a fridge. The bed was super comfortable too. I will definitely return.
Perfect location for an overnight stay for a wedding at nearby Howsham Hall. Accommodated an early check-in due to us needing to be at the venue for 1pm. Stuart also offered us a taxi service to and from the venue for a very reasonable price, and was flexible with times, which was much appreciated! Nice, cosy and very clean room which had everything we needed. Breakfast was great too! My partner hurt her foot at the wedding and the owners very kindly offered her some ibuprofen to help with the pain. Would 100% recommend staying here.
The location was good for me whilst working in Yorkshire. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good and the proprietors and their dogs very friendly.
Great for a one night stay. Room was very clean comfortable bed tea and coffee available in room. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We were going to a wedding a couple of miles up the road he provided taxi survices knowing we would struggle to get one late at night. Breakfast was a full English. This is a good value for money bed and breakfast, if you are looking for a 5 star hotel with full facilities then this is not the place. You get great accomodation a lovely pub great hosts.
A charming pretty village, the room was lovely, it had character, it was very clean, comfortable and a good size. Ensuite bathroom was clean and had complimentary toiletries. The bed was large and comfortable, I slept well.
