Location and standard of lodge was excellent. I was here for one night for work but these lodges would be my first choice if I was coming back for a personal holiday.

Location was phenomenal. Great views from the windows. And nicely set back from the road but only 15 minutes to Kirkwall and its facilities and amenities and about the same to Stromness. The beach was a few minutes drive and in view of the house. Ring Of Brodgar and Neolithic World Heritage Site was only about 10 minutes away also.
It was self-catering but the hosts left us fresh farm eggs and milk for our first breakfasts as well as other Orkney delicacies.
Hosts were so very friendly and helpful. The bungalow was spotless. Great tv for viewing the football. It was warm. Kitchen had all the amenities and like the bathroom, front room and bedrooms was spotless. Orkney is absolutely wonderful and I could not recommend this holiday stay enough. I would move in tomorrow.

Ideally situated to explore the West Mainland, being beside the main road from Kirkwall (20mins) and Stromness (5mins)
Comfortable for ourselves as a couple with a compact, well appointed kitchen with new appliances, although we might have made better use over our 5 day stay with a dishwasher as opposed to a washing machine.

A comfy house which was spotless with lots of parking. Great location within walking distance of town and close to the Kirkwall ferry terminals. Perfect base for my work trip to Orkney. The owner was so kind when I had an issue with payment, thank you!
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Property was perfect. It was very clean, well equipped, everything you could ever want was there, great attention to detail, comfortable beds, great location with parking. Felt like home . Hosts communicated well and check in was easy.
Great compact apartment. Everything was very clean and convenient, and well supplied. The location was very good for both the neolithic sites and Kirkwall. There is a good supermarket in Kirkwall (10 minutes by car). There are some nice walks for the evening, and the parking is easy. The Wifi worked well, and the washer is modern and easy to use. This was a good break from B&B allowing us to eat more lightly and save some money.
Wonderful cottage. Totally home from home, kitted out with everything you could possibly need.
Welcome basket was so generous and our welcome was so warm. Lovely people and the best holiday home xx
Everything was very clean, newly renovated and very nicely equipped. Furniture is very comfortable and there were even snacks and drinks available. Host was very friendly and responsive. Definitely worth the money, it's really nice getaway place with beautiful view.
