Bar far the nicest place we've stayed in the UK so far. We were greeted on arrival and shown around which is a first for us and a lovely touch. The cottage itself felt like a home away from home. Warm, comfortable and very inviting.
Great location, you can walk into the village and access some lovely countryside right on your doorstep.
Very family friendly, little touches like toys for smaller kids and some board games too for older ones. A toilet with the built in toddler seat was great for our 2 year old and plastic bowls and plates in the kitchen were so useful.
Very well equipped kitchen, lovely wood burner in the living room and very comfortable beds.
Perfect for the dog too. We were genuinely sad our visit wasn't longer.

The Lynbrook Haybarn is a wonderful, warm and cosy retreat. Everything is so thoughtfully organised and beautifully appointed. The hut tub is stunning, looking out over a tree-lined field. We will be back, highly recommended!

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
We were completely left alone . Excellent location very clean . Great place. Will 100% be going back .
Parking Was great also. Directly outside the door of our accommodation.
Lovely location, very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great. Keys were left for us on table, but was a lock box.

The Shire cottage was a perfect holiday cottage for me, my three friends and my daughter. The hot tub was a lovely treat and there are plenty of lovely New Forest walks very nearby. The beds were super comfortable and the cottage was well stocked up with towels, crockery, etc. The communication beforehand was super clear and everything went according to plan. Would really recommend staying here and hope to return one day soon.
