Excellent location close to the lovely village and pub. The property is spacious and has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is lovely and warm. The kitchen is well equipped. There are 3 outdoor areas one of which is secure for dogs. We received a beautiful welcome hamper that was filled with goodies, a really lovely touch. I loved having a sofa in the bedroom and the balcony made it feel like a suite and ensured you could have some time alone. Each room also has a TV.

Gorgeous house, great location. House was so comfy and huge. Much bigger than the pictures look. There was 4 adults and 2 children and we never seemed on top of each other. So much space. My granddaughter loved the play equipment in the garden and the hot tub. Walking distance into Wooler. Communication with Nicola was great. Loads of extras, x box, ( I think, my granddaughter would tell you better!) games even Sky sports on tv. Everything provided, towels, toilet rolls, shower gel, shampoo etc.
Featuring garden views, Birchwood Cottage - In the Heart of Wooler offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 26 km from Bamburgh Castle.

The cottage was cosy and beautifully decorated (with some extra autumn touches with if being October 🥰). It was quiet and just the pretty location I was hoping for. The lounge and wood burner was lovely in the evening and comfy beds to sleep in. The garden looked out at the hills and I’m sure would be great for a summer bbq.

Lovely comfortable cottage, well maintained, complimentary bottle of wine is a lovely bonus x
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Lovely walks down to the river direct from the cottage. Everything you would need available in the cottage which was much bigger than expected. Very clean and tidy. The boot room on entering the cottage is great. Dogs welcome (but a £15.00 fee per dog payable). Couldn’t fault it in any way and fully recommend.
We loved this beautiful and welcoming country house. Our room was large, very clean (with a huge ensuite) and furnished with antiques. Breakfast was excellent. Angus was so helpful and his knowledge of the area really enhanced our holiday. We enjoyed a fantastic two days eating great food and exploring the gorgeous Northumbrian coast thanks to his insightful suggestions. We recommend The Gables highly and hope to return soon.
Great location, very clean and comfortable , very friendly staff. nothing was too much trouble. very good food and service.
