Absolutely lovely property right in the heart of Onchan. We especially appreciated that the hosts left us a few provisions as our flight was delayed and we got in rather late. We also loved the little nature preserve located behind the property.

Rivendell had all the charm and coziness of a traditional cottage, but also provided a sleek modern bathroom and well equipped kitchen. There were many thoughtful little extras throughout. Christina, our host, was very friendly and helpful, having left numerous valuable and informative notes about how various things worked. She was also quickly responsive with our questions, such as connecting to the internet. We truly enjoyed our comfortable stay here and exploring the Isle of Man.

The Barn was perfect! from the communication and personalization from the host, the ideal iv location, and the beauty of the home made for a perfect trip to the Isle of Man! The cottage is picturesque in it's appearance & has standard modern appliances, for those used to stay in a property with all the modern technology this does not accommodate.
Basic living the old fashioned way,is what it had to offer which would suit many whom prefer simple not sophisticated.
It is located on a road junction & has access towards all the local beautiful locations, as well as bus stops directly outside of the property which takes you towards Castletown, Douglas, Ballebeg, Colby, Port St Mary & Port Erin.
There are plenty of short walks close by including a fantastic location within 10 minutes where a Viking long boat & a Bronze age burial, an Iron age hill fort & a 10 century church are located, if you continue along the same route you'll be stood by the shore line & be able to look back unto the hillside & mountain peaks which are stunning.

Hotel in a perfect location right on the front. Room although up quite a lot of stairs was very clean and perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was lovely too. Buffet style with full English and toast, croissants, fruit, yogurts and cereals. Very enjoyable stay would definitely recommend.
