The cottage had so much character but also had everything you needed for modern living. It just made you smile staying here. It was a very short walk to the centre of town so anything you needed was close by. We also went to the races and we were able to walk there (took about 20mins) so that was great!

Excellent location and everything you could need in a little cottage. Bed was a bit hard but that’s just because I really like soft beds. Towels were soft and thick. Stairs are fairly steep so maybe not for the elderly. Very clean and warm. Definitely will return

It was a good town centre location, a modern building and very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and polite and gave a good impression of the Wetherspoon chain of pubs. The bar service was very good and the meals arrived promptly.
