The cottage was beautiful. We were staying there as we were working at Lochmaddy. Unfortunately, due to the weather we got stranded on the Island, luckily there had been a cancellation and we could stay on at the cottage.

These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and well organised. Well stocked for breakfast replenished on a regular basis. Host and cleaner very approachable if needed
Very clean, comfortable bed, great shower and all you need in the little kitchen. The host Andrew was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend for a stay in Uist, close to a hotel serving food and drinks and to the Co-Op for supplies.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. The guest facilities to the first floor were convenient and easy to find your way around. The host was very friendly and made you feel welcome and at ease.

Andrew was really welcoming. The room was very clean, fresh and comfortable. We enjoyed hearing the birds outside and seeing wildlife, as well as meeting and chatting to other guests at breakfast in the shared kitchen/ sitting room area.
