Our stay was amazing. John is such a helpful friendly guy. He goes above and beyond. The site is immaculate and beyond beautiful. It's so quiet and relaxing. Amenities are all very clean and every eventuality has been thought of. It's a really lovely place, with lovely people. A little piece of paradise. Definitely going back. Oh, and we got to walk the goats... 😁
Excellent room. Very clean, comfortable bed and French doors leading out to a little garden and patio area. It was a shame there was a rusting filthy patio set as you couldn’t have sat on it. Good tea and coffee provided and an excellent bathroom with a good shower over the bath.
The vibe was relaxed and comfortable. The staff were all eager to please; they were pleasant, friendly and efficient. My room was very large and well equipped. I liked the fact that everywhere was very clean.
Plenty of beds, nice touch with the coffee and crisps (although out of date). The fans were amazing and cooled the rooms down after a very warm day. The kitchen was very spacious and the house overall was very clean

Very friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Enjoyable evening meal. Our one night stay required an early morning start. Staff tried to organise bringing breakfast forward 30 mins but this proved not possible. An enjoyable evening meal at this popular pub. An excellent range of beers. Plenty of car parking
Accommodation & location was great. Train station was a 10 minute walk, the town centre less than 5 mins.
Very clean, well equipped and comfortable.
Will defiantly stay here again when we visit our friends in Chelmsford.
