Property was very clean, well equipped with a kitchen with essentials. Bathrobes, footwear to take out to the hot tub. Very peaceful and the hot tub was perfect! Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, who came along to help keep the hot tub fire going.
The location is away from the main road, accessed through a private drive leading to the cottages here. Visible from your cottage you can see the horses and alpacas that are kept on this farm. Don't worry, this is not a busy or noisy farm and is run by the family here. We came over at the right time to see the alpacas being fed and were offered food to hand feed them which wasn't expected. The property is cosy, with everything you can imagine. It is all clean and does not show any wear and tear at all. It has electric heating for the bedroom and living room which doesn't take long to heat the rooms up.
We spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub, which was heated for our arrival. It includes LED lighting and hydro jets (buttons behind the side nearest the fence). It's under cover and features some bulbs and lighting. The area is mostly private with covered high fencing around it although a small gap where the gate is; however the only persons who would see you through here would have to actively walk up to the gate to peer through so not likely an issue!
This was a surprise birthday treat. I was fortunate that no one was staying the night prior, so the hosts allowed me to attend a day earlier to drop off some food, cake and balloons and set this up to make it easier on arrival. Jacob was friendly and made us feel very welcome both allowing us to feed the animals as well as promptly answering our call and helping relighting the hot tub.
This location is ideal for a night away if you're perhaps travelling through Kent. If you're intending on staying longer then it has everything you need to cook meals (microwave, oven, fridge, draw full of utensils and cutlery).

The room was very clean and we had a balcony view. We were warmly welcomed. The hotel is located in a wonderful area of Chatham and a short walk only from a great centre with restaurants, shops, etc. We also walked to the historic dockyards of Chatham. The breakfast was wonderful and generous too.
