So dirty you can’t see through the windows for cobwebs, so overgrown everywhere. They don’t answer the phone in check in and worse the fire alarm does not work!! Asked for preof and was forced out by the owner!
Tewkesbury was heaving with the music festival but this place was empty and now we know why! Instantly left as soon as we arrived ( not to mention the fact that it’s next to the waste water works and busy main road! ) Complained three times to booking .com. about getting a refund. The Owner looked completely unsurprised when we said we wouldn’t be staying but here I am getting asked to review !!! Please help me booking.com this place gives you a bad name!!!

Beautifully decorated cottage in a great location in Cheltenham. Close to shops and restaurants, but very quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back.

Fitted out to an excellent standard, super comfy beds, amazing decor... when there was a minor issue host was super responsive to try and resolve it.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Very clean & spacious accommodation, we appreciated the bottle of wine & groceries supplied.
Owner John was very friendly during our stay.
Plenty of parking space available next to property.
We would highly recommend The Old Thatch for a holiday break, ideally located for exploring the surrounding areas.

The house is lovely, crammed with interesting pictures and ornaments. The room was spacious,very clean with plenty of tea, coffee etc and fresh milk in the fridge. Sally and Rick are excellent hosts and Sally's breakfasts are splendid. It's a great location , peaceful and relaxing. Two soppy dogs to fuss with as well.
Breakfast was beautiful, our stay was excellent, Sally and ric were very welcoming, couldn't fault a thing, definitely recommend, very clean and the grounds were wonderful
Very interesting house with many antique furniture and decorations. Impressive paintings of famous artists. The room was very clean and spacious even with an extra bed. The main bed was huge. Beddings were luxurious. Bathroom was extremely clean and modern with toiletries provided. The hosts are lovely people, warm and welcoming, accomodating to our requests.
Very good full english breakfast.
There was a lovely walk to the back of the house and the local pub had excellent food.
Lots of local attractions in Cotswold within driving distance
