Very very clean! Nice to have offroad parking. Good location to local amenities - can walk to local pub, there is an Indian, fish and chips, pharmacy and shop within walking distance. The home had good refreshments and basic needs like porridge, milk and cookies. Beds very comfy. Christina very friendly. Washing machine helpful - got our things clean before we went home. Will stay here again when visiting family in Essex. A privilege to stay in a property with so much history.
Perfect location for stansted airport, staff very kind and showed us to our room. Paid £70 for the night would of liked it to be a tad cheaper but cannot complain as room was very clean and comfortable. As expected being next to the airport it was very noisy outside so not as easy to fall asleep but suited us perfectly for somewhere to sleep for a few hours before our early morning flight. Complimentary tea & coffee with biscuits.

Easy walk into town where a good range of food places are. The first cafe you come to, do brill roasts and breakfasts.
The staff were wonderful, warm and friendly, you could feel that you were staying somewhere that was a part of the community. The bed was comfy and it was very clean. Good value for money. Location excellent, very picturesque.
