we loved the hot tub! - really nice after the long Dirty Reiver gravel bike race. The dog was happy in the enclosed space. very quiet and peaceful. next to the brewery - must come back to visit this next time. Near to the town where there are shops and pubs.

Everything was fantastic. It was quiet and comfortable with lots of amenities. The dark skies at night were a bonus as you could see so many stars. The owners provided very good communication before arrival, so it was easy to find The Bothy. It was close to many points on Hadrian's Wall and the Falconry Center, so we had a blast exploring the area and flying raptors. We loved it and would stay again.

The property is beautiful, in a gorgeous location. It had everything we needed as a family of two adults, two children and our family dog. It was cosy, a real home from home feeling. The hot tub was a hit with us and our oldest son, so were the board games.

Perfect location to get away from it all but still close enough to enjoy the local amenities. Views were awesome and the accommodation was warm and cosy. Bellingham is a beautiful village to visit I couldn't recommend it high enough.

The rooms are big, the bed is comfortable,the bathroom is big enough, very clean and tidy. Bathing products supplied as we're tea and coffee making facilities with a few of each for our use. Our daughter even had a coffee machine with pods supplied in her room. The hotel also has a medium but hot drying room, good for drying walkers clothing and boots from boggy walk.
The food in the restaurant was really tasty and well priced ,the staff were lovely, happy, polite and friendly. A great find for the Pennine way walk.
I've stayed at Brown Rigg before. As before, a warm welcome, well appointed room, very clean, large double bed, plenty of tea and coffee, great kitchen facilities, plenty of parking space, lovely location

Location was great for going for walks in kielder. Room was very clean and staff very friendly and attentive. My partner and I are vegan and there was great options for us breakfast wise. Room was large and comfortable, had a great stay!
We travelled upto the kielder Forest on motorcycle for a weekend ride and stayed here for the night. The location was amazing and very clean, perfect for groups of motorcyclist. There is a lovely pub in the village called the black bull which serves lovely food.
