The property was wonderful, exactly as shown in the pictures. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The beds were comfortable, the house was warm and the kitchen was generally well equipped.

+ From the outset, I would like to say that the owners accepted my feedback and themselves expressed disappointment the issues we raised. I was assured no-one had ever raised any of my points before (though on looking through, one reviewer did mention the beds and several the cleanliness)
It was dealt with promptly and a compromise was reached, namely a gesture of goodwill was made and accepted. I told the owner that I would give an honest and fair review, the points below are the ones I immediately raised. I really hate having to be so honest with the review, as it's pretty damning. My reviews on here and Tripadvisor are often upvoted, as I am always fair. I've left a review here for three reasons; 1) to show the owners made recompense, 2) as two requests for a review were requested and not least, 3) to give other travellers an insight. Hopefully the attached photos represent my summary.

It was a great place for us to stay to visit family nearby. The house is in its own grounds. The younger member particularly appreciated the chocolate biscuits, crisps and sweeties! A full hospitality tray was also included - even bottled water - and loads of toilet rolls, which is always rare at self-catering!

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The property was exceptionally inviting and very clean. Denise went out of her way to make us early morning breakfast.
We had a pleasant stay and if I was to ever go back to the area this is where I would stay. Everytime.
