Amazing home, very homely and comfortable feel. If I didn’t have plans could have quite easily stayed in for the few days that we had the property.

It was really lovely, very clean, spacious, very comfortable bed, the owners left a box of goodies on the table, access to lots of walks and Chatsworth House.
Friendly Hosts. Lots of little unexpected extras in the room that showed how much effort the hosts put in and it made the stay extra special. The room was very clean and well stocked. The bed was super comfy, the other reviews are correct about how comfy the bed is!
The house is the nicest holiday cottage we have stayed in, the interior was so tastefully decorated, the kitchen was beautiful, plus two seating areas. The views looking out to the fields were stunning. The garden was super nice, seating area was so comfy. Everything was luxurious. The two bedrooms were beautiful - would not change anything

Very quiet and much larger than it looks in the photos. Nice balcony from the open plan living area looking out over very large garden.
We were there for a long weekend visiting nearby stately homes. Very convenient for Hardwick Hall - to which the owners have a family connection - and Bolsover Castle. Also within easy reach of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Kedleston House and very close to Matlock & various attractions there.
Enjoyed the weekend very much.
