We loved the little apartment (the stables, upper cottage 9)! It was perfect and cozy for a couple. Bed was comfy, shower was hot and good pressure. It was very easy to find and close to Balloch for dinner. We only stayed one night but it would be perfect for a longer stay. We plan to return the next time we are touring in Scotland and will definitely stay here again!

Townhouse exceeded our expectations. Lots of room with a very modern design. 3 bedrooms with a futon in the master suite made for great sleeping arrangements. Although the townhouse was off of the beaten path, Loch Lomond was only a few minutes north and Dumbarton a few minutes south.

Beautiful scenery. There are sheep grazing in the field behind the hot tub. Nice mountains behind the sheep. Highland cows are out the front view.
The house is very modern and comfortable.
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Beautiful location, just a minute or so off the A road but feels very quiet and peaceful. Great layout with so much space. Very well equipped. Very clean. Very close to Duck Bay Hotel which has a fantastic restaurant and coffee shop right on the loch.
The apartment is very cosy, charming and very clean with well equipped facilities. We were very lucky that we were one of the first guests to stay there after the renovation. A supermarket is just opposite the apartment which is very convenient. Loch Lomond and the surrounding area is easily reached by car and offers stunning views and amazing hiking trails. If this couldn't get any better, the weekend we were there, we were welcomed with majestic aurora borealis display!
Had a lovely stay - clearly recently refurbished with up to date bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms and a modern thermostat. We brought logs and had a lovely fire as well. The property was immaculate, very clean and tidy and fresh-feeling. Plus - lovely view of the loch! So glad we stayed here.
