Our stay in Normandy at the cottage could not have been better. Host is incredibly thoughtful with everything she provides, allowing us to truly enjoy our time away from home (Fort Bragg, NC). Location was perfect, exactly what you think French countryside. Our proximity to Omaha beach and all the D Day historic sites has you traveling along beautiful quiet roads. There is an outdoor sitting area with chairs and rows of flowers overlooking the fields and cows. We found it most relaxing for our mornings.

The place was big! Big windows and great atmosphere. It was new, clean and the host Steven was very friendly. He even brought us a bottle of homemade cider. It had a great kitchen with a microwave and coffee maker. We really enjoyed our relaxing and restful stay after visiting the Normandy sights Note: There are no towels or pillow cases or sheets or duvet cover- so plan accordingly. It has a mattress pad and comforters.

Property was as described. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. We loved the 15-20 minute walk to the beach. It’s a lovely location and the host was friendly. Would definitely book again if we come back to Normandy.

The location is perfect, a quiet part of a village which is close to the Omaha beach and other D-Day-related places like the US War Cemetery in Colleville sur Mer. The holiday house itself is well equipped and with 2 bedrooms it is spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. It has its own yard with outdoor seating setup and barbecue. We spent just 2 nights there but I can imagine a longer vacation at this nice little house.
The owner waited for us, despite being late due to traffic jams on the way there. Her gourmet plate and breakfast were very delicious and filling. She also gave us tips on what to see in the area, where to eat etc. The place was very clean and located in a quiet area.
